Winter trip to Germany

At the end of January, we spent a week in Garmisch, Germany. It was freezing. A cold front had moved in and the temperatures were way below normal. The highs were about 8 and the lows were minus 12. That made it pretty tough to stay outside very long, especially with little guys. We had hoped to be able to spend more time outdoors.

We still had fun though...after all, we were in Germany! We went cross country skiing, downhill skiing, and sledding. One day we went to a big science museum in Munich, which we had gone to a few years ago. Another day we drove to the Neuschwanstein Castle that was built in the 19th century. It's the castle that inspired Walt Disney to create the Magic Kingdom. Unfortunately, it was being renovated. We didn't take many pictures because we were so cold. Here are a few we managed to take during the week.
