Happy 5th birthday, Noah!

Five years ago today, on September 11th, 2006, Noah was born at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, MD.

DJ and I were on a trip to NYC just a few months before Noah was born.
Tom was in Iraq.
That's my brother and nephews in the background.

Here we are as a family of four.

Such a sweet little guy.
* * *

How did he turn five so quickly?!
* * *

Now we're a family of six!
* * *

Noah got a Lego space shuttle for his birthday. This was his first BIG Lego project that he put together. With a little coaching from his dad and big brother, he did great!

For his 5th birthday, we spent the morning at the beach.
* * *

Then we had Lego cupcakes.

And of course, a few presents.

Happy birthday, Noah. I can't believe you're five. You are so full of life. You love to play with your brothers and friends, draw things, build with Legos, and act silly. Dad and I love you so much. We hope that you will grow up to love and serve God with all your heart. You are one special boy.
