No school!

This past Thursday DJ didn't have school so my new friend, Linda, and I took our combined 7 kids under the age of eight to Taormina for a picnic at an old Greek stadium. I guess you could say we're brave, but really, it was surprisingly pretty easy and fun. Despite Noah's temper tantrum that stopped all traffic down one of Taormina's beautiful, romantic streets, everything went well. Here are some fun pictures of our afternoon.

Hi Tom and Carey, DJ, Noah, and Lincoln!

Wow! The views are awesome. Estimated age of the Greek ruins? The amphitheater looks huge!
Noah looks like he is trying to give us his banana!

God is good all the time!!

Love Dad and Mom(Grandpa Frank and Grandma LInda)

Frank and Linda,

The Greek Theatre is probably of Roman date. They say it lines up more with those of Greek, rather than Roman, theatres - supposedly the current structure was rebuilt on the foundations of an older theatre of the Greek period. It's the second largest theratre of its kind in Sicily. Still holds operas and concerts there!

Noah prefers to have peanut butter smeared on his banana, but he had to have it without pb that day!

Hope you are doing well!!!

Love,
Carey
